All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!

Since recently we are able to increase our realm. Therefore we formed armies, equiped them with weapons and suits of armor and then sent them to uninhabited areas around our colony. Just as we feared there have been some conflicts with the natives there. Unfortunately there have been casualities on both sides. The natives attack our troops again and again and then they go back in the wilderness and hide there. Despite these problems we were able to duplicate our territory. Finally we have enough raw material and the production of goods runs well. Also the other lords of Tamar add land to their colonies and so it won't take long until all land will be diveded between themselves. But unfortuantely this brings new problems with it. By now the tone between some lords gets harsher and harsher. Especially between some conversations in the taverna and in some letters which reach us, more and more often there are threats with armed force. So sooner or later it will come to fights between the ruler. This is a very threatening thought for me. I really hoped that there would be peace in Tamar forever, but it seem like that this is impossible. Because of these new developments some first new confederations between several rulers were made and everywhere they are searching for allies and discuss planed actions against potential enemies.
One of the lords of our neighbourhood did even one step more. His name is Fox. He just recently distributed a writing where he announced the founding of a alliance of smaler realms which want to work together for the purposes of defense and profitable trade.
Unfortunately one of the importanst person of this island, Lord Wolfen, attracted attention by his rough tone in the last time. It seems like that he really wants to end the time of friendliness. I never expected that he of all people finds such hawky words.He even opposed Lady Morgana more than once. And I always thought that they wanted to go the same way together. Apparently Lord Wolfen is intent on becoming the leader power of our island earlier or later. Maybe he wants to expand his influence even on the surrounding islands where constantly new colonies are erected. My master Alberich just said to Taurik, one of the settlers which realm is in the north of ours that he observes Lord Wolfen and his allies, because he is not sure where all this should end.
But just recently we were confronted with a completely different problem. When our armorer wanted to hand over wooden shields of our own production for a new formed troop so that they can defend themselves better he couldn't trust his eyes. He found instead of the shields only eroded rests of it and a huge heap of sawdust in the storage. Apperently a very ravenous kind of termites destroyed over 200 wooden shields of best quality in a very short time. That's a heavy lost for our arms stock. The armorer took revenge on this ravenous animals with help of fire and several toxics.
During a visit of my master in the taverna he had to notice that some of the lords didn't read the news which hung out carefully enough. In view of this tense situation this shouldn't happen, especially when exactly these news are from Lord Wolfen personally. I don't like to say names here but the masteries will know who I mean.
